Stefania will be leading a 200 Hour Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Program at Collegeville Yoga Bar. We are a Registered Yoga School (RYS 200) with Yoga Alliance.
This is a very hands-on practical approach to learning how to teach yoga.
Students are able to take unlimited free yoga classes at the studio during the teacher training program.
Topics covered include:
--Pranayama and Mantra
--Yoga Ethics and Philosophy
--Business of Yoga
--Assists and Modifications
--And much more
Students are also required to teach 10 hours of yoga at the studio prior to graduation. These hours are part of your training program, and are thus not for pay.
All books and teaching materials are included in your tuition fee.
Tuition Cost: $2600
-- A $400 non-refundable deposit will hold your space
--Payment plans are available, and can be spread out into increments of 3-6 months.
--Winter/Spring 2017 session payment plan deadline is 12/31/16.
--Work study is also available for a reduction in tuition cost. A minimum of three months work study is required, and must be completed by 12/31/16.
Testimonials from YTT graduates:
The CYB teacher training program has been extremely rewarding. It has greatly deepened my knowledge of yoga and provided the tools for success as a yoga teacher. Taught by Stefania and Beverly, these two teachers have two personalities that complement one another, providing the perfect balance of structure and creativity. The program is all encompassing. It effectively teaches the layers of each posture and the specific languaging. Built into the program are required yoga classes and a home practice is strongly encouraged. This and other information (such as pranayama and Ayurveda) that is taught throughout the program is extremely valuable because it all ultimately allows one to teach more effectively. Both Stefania and Beverly openly shared their own personal experiences to best prepare us for the yoga teaching world. I am incredibly grateful for everything this program has taught me!
~ Dr. S M.F. 2015-2016 YTT Program Participant
"Collegeville Yoga Bar is located 75 miles from where I live, but it has been so worth it for me to travel the distance to participate in the YTT here. While I know other yoga teachers who have participated in programs that were rich in the volume of content instruction, many of these other programs did not give them an opportunity to teach until they graduated from the program. I have appreciated the opportunity that this program has afforded me to learn in a hands-on way. The "teaching" part is not something that comes at the end of the YTT, but we've been trying out our skills and developing our voices as yoga teachers from the first week of the program. As we have progressed through the program, we've built in a sequential way on our knowledge and practical skills. I have no doubt that I will be adequately prepared to teach yoga upon completion of this program, having competency in Asana (yoga postures), anatomy, breathwork, the yogic philosophy, and the business aspects of teaching yoga. Stefania's expertise in teaching is apparent in the way that she guides us in learning the postures and how to communicate instructions to students. Her attention to detail makes every component of this program worthwhile. She designs materials and explains content to us in a way that is clear and that is thorough. The combined experience of Stefania and Beverly makes available to future yoga teachers a wealth of knowledge, and they willingly share this knowledge with us. The blend of their individual styles leads to a full and holistic understanding of all that is involved in the teaching of yoga and encourages us to explore how we can bring our unique spirits to each class that we teach. My participation in this program has deepened my own yoga practice, has led me to think in new ways about my practice on and off the mat, and has inspired and excited me about sharing my love of yoga with others."
